About Carolina Solorzano

 

Born in Santiago, Chile, Carolina Solorzano moved at the age of 7 to Northern California. Her love of art, media and film took her to Academy of Art University where she majored in Motion Pictures and Television DIrecting in 2006. Her experimental short, Prose won best experimental short at the the Academy of Art's Spring Show. Since then, she has devoted her time freelancing as an assistant director and associate producer. 

In 2007 she assistant directed the TV pilot, " Adina's Deck" which took her to work at Manastorm Productions where she continues to freelance. Her collaboration with Manastorm has given light to work in mixed martial arts industry and in the documentary field. Currently, she is working on KIDS, a feature length children documentary.
